Alabama Amphibian Network:
The Network

The Alabama Amphibian Network is being supervised by the University of Alabama and Alabama Partners of Amphibian and Reptile Conservation, with funding being graciously provided by Legacy Partners in Environmental Education.

The “operational” portion of the network is being provided by several environmental education partners throughout the state. These partners have been selected due to their ability to reach multiple demographic groups through education, their location in different physiographic provinces throughout Alabama, and their general excellence in environmental education. Current partners in the network include (click on the name of each partner to learn more):

Appalachian Highlands/Cumberland Plateau

Little River Canyon Field School/JSU Field Schools

Camp McDowell

Upper Coastal Plain/Piedmont

The University of Alabama Arboretum

Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Lower Coastal Plain

Alabama Nature Center

Turtle Point Science Center
