Outreach Program Database

As a service to educators and other groups in Alabama, ALAPARC is assembling a database of outreach program providers. These individuals present educational programs on a variety of herp-related topics, spanning basic amphibian and reptile biology, species identification, and herpetofaunal conservation. Most of these individuals include live animals in their programs, providing students with hands-on, experiential learning with these fascinating creatures.

If you are an educator or outreach coordinator wishing to plan a herp presentation for your school or group, please browse the spreadsheet linked below to view a list of program providers and their service area in the state, as well as their contact information and other details. If you frequently give herp outreach programs and would like to be added to our list, please contact Wally Smith at for more information on being added to the network.
